ABOUT SPRING GLEN RETIREMENT CENTER:

  • Ideal Staff to Resident Ratio: 6 staff to 15 residents (staff composition: 1 Nurse, 5 Direct Care), so nurses can focus on medical care needs
  • Holistic Approach to Healthcare: Spring Glen staff engage with residents to provide quality social connections and interactions in addition to providing quality medical care

  • Lead Training Opportunities: Train direct care staff on use of medical equipment, provision of basic medical care services, assist with healthcare and hygiene education, developing protocols and guidelines, administering medications, maintaining medical equipment, and completing nursing observations and assessments
  • Pursue your own growth &learning: intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and aging population fields; provide routine and acute care needs, actually get to know the residents you care for
