Are you looking to use your degree in Human Resources to make an impact on a local non-profit in Chapel Hill?

RSI is currently recruiting for an HR Manager to work Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.  The HR Manager is primarily responsible for employee relations and the administration of benefits, policies, procedures, HR processes, and related data. The HR Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance in all areas of human resources for Residential Services, Inc. and maintaining all compliance tasks in accordance with federal, state and organizational requirements. Additionally, based on his/her experience, skills, interests, and performance, the HR Manager may be involved in other aspects of the HR Department, and may work with the Director of Talent and HR Compliance Coordinator to participate in interviewing candidates for employment, developing offer/promotion letters, and administering on-boarding of new staff and associated paperwork.

Minimum qualifications include:

  1. A bachelor's degree in human resource management and two years' of related work experience (preferred).
  2. PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
  3. Knowledge of employment law, candidate sourcing, interviewing techniques, and knowledge of technical systems: MS Word and Excel, Survey Monkey, and HR Systems (ApplicantPro and Kronos preferred).
  4. Position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, ethical conduct and professionalism, problem solving / analysis, project management, time-management skills, multi-tasking abilities, and attention to detail and organization. Must work well under pressure, be flexible, take initiative, plan ahead and work well as a team. Bilingual (English / Spanish) skills preferred.

    Rate of Pay:

    $38,000/year plus benefits
