Residential Services Inc. is eagerly hiring dedicated, compassionate, and responsible Care-givers/Direct Support Professionals to work in our Spring Glen Retirement Community providing hands on support to our aging residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This job is entry-level and a great way to gain hands on experience in the field of health care and human services! We are paying an EXTRA $5/hour for all hours worked on the weekends and an EXTRA $10/hour for the weekends of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's!

  • Help residents with daily tasks such as cooking or cleaning
  • Assist with personal care
  • Work with residents on creative projects such as gardening, or painting
  • Provide companionship and care while helping to promote independence

Spring Glen Retirement Community is a unique retirement center in rural Orange County, NC. There are several things that make Spring Glen a unique place to gain hands on experience.

  • Ideal Staff to Resident Ratio: 6 staff to 15 residents (staff composition: 1 Nurse, 5 Direct Care)
